Toyota to Build $1.3 Billion SUV Plant in Mississippi

This is about 10% of what Ford lost last year. Chump change I guess, for these players. But I have to ask myself why Americans are so sworn to buying Japanese cars, and can we somehow get a grip before we lose our entire auto industry?

Perhaps if unions such as UAW didn't break the backs of the companies who produce American cars, we could compete and win in a global marketplace.
