Fact Checkers - those Great Purveyors of Truth

Beverly says: "I would love to see a bar under the candidates with the fact checkers score with each statement made by the candidates. Something like"liar, liar, pants on fire." Or "he might could do that."

It's bogus. The only difference with fact checkers is that they build themselves up as the great purveyors of truth, but like any news organization, they will have their bias as well. It's a way for liberals to pretend they have credibility, since the concept started as a hit job methodology. Of course we'll call every Republican a liar if it wins us more votes, just look at our history. But what if it wasn't us but a "fact checking organization" doing it? Now we sound credible.

I'd rather trust a person's track record. Every opponent Obama/Axelrod have faced has fallen under the same hit job approach. Desperate to pry open sealed divorce records, they use any means necessary... media hysteria is a good one, whatever it takes. Romney, being monogamous, requires a different approach. Tax records - we demand to see them. What is he hiding? Bain capital? How uncaring! How many times can we as Americans allow this same formulaic nonsense to pull the wool over our eyes? It's like Weekend at Bernie's Part 7, or rather The Godfather part VIII.

Romney has integrity, success, and a long track record of caring for people, improving their lives, raising a family, and public service. Those are the facts I care about.
It’s almost like a serial killer’s signature. Unsealed personal records have been released to the press. Obama must be running for office!
So you can see what a pickle the Obama campaign is in having to run against a Dudley Do-Right, non-drinking, non-smoking, God-fearing, happily married Mormon.

If Santa were Obama/Axelrod's Political Opponent

based on Obama's style (via Axelrod, Jarret) of seeking to personally destroy his opponents http://www.humanevents.com/2011/11/09/david-axelrods-pattern-of-sexual-misbehavior/
And now without further ado: if Santa were Obama/Axelrod's political opponent by Soo-Do Nim

  1. What's in Santa's "closet"? The word is out that Santa spends a great deal of time stashing more than just Johnny's gifts in that little bag of his. Santa's in the unique position to transfer goodies to drug dealers across borders WITHOUT THE USUAL BORDER SECURITY CHECKS!
  2. Santa Claus, or as he is also known "Saint" Nicholas, disappears off the grid for months at a time, reportedly stashing money in various Dutch bank accounts. But due to his secrecy, we're not even certain about where he goes, and he has been reportedly seen in some of the seediest neighborhoods in Chicago and L.A.
  3. Charity begins in Santa's home? - Where is the money? Thousands of volunteers raised money to "help" Santa reach more homes and chimneys, but much of this money has somehow vanished... it seems that plenty of the money has found its way into Santa's portly figure, as he lavishly feeds himself during his now infamous North pole parties.
  4. Santa's highschool girlfriend speaks out  - Poet Katherine Lee Bates wrote extensively about Mrs. Claus, but her fascination with the jolly red giant goes beyond poetic to perverse. Many underage girls have been a little more than "happy" after receiving gifts and favors from Santa. His behavior has raised more than a few eyebrows. But rumour has it that Bates was more than just Santa's poet, a secret hidden from Mrs. Claus until this year, when this important story broke open on the Puff Post.
  5. Reindeer abuse? Santa's sleigh gets fuller and fuller, while his reindeer continue to look skinnier and more sickly. Animal safety experts contend that the great distances his reindeer are literally forced to travel every December are tantamount to animal torture! How can we trust a man who cannot even take care of his own animals?
  6. Santa now putting his elves back in chains!! While Santa gorges himself on wine and cakes, his elves work tirelessly to build up Santa's ever-expanding wealth. He commands them around like his little peons, denying their human rights to vacation and health care. No, no. It's always about Santa. Well in this election, Santa needs to take a quick trip right back to the North Pole!

I Will Not Read, I Will Not Listen, I Promise

ABC News to its writers: Folks, this election is about ignoring all of Romney's successes, kindness and generosity, and ignoring all of Obama's failures, selfishness and narcissism. Let's get 8 more stories done about "the 47%" this week, and not Bain anymore since that backfired. I'm tired of hearing about all of the jobs Romney actually saved AND created. Focus on important words such as outsourced. If you can do a story combining the words 47% and outsourced, there will be a bonus for you. Now let's go! Oh, and don't forget to pre-write your templates of "Romney's embarrassing gaffes at the debate," so once it's over you can just fill in the blanks.

Okay, folks, before you go, do repeat the oath after me:

I do solemnly swear to focus only on the audio snippets of Romney that government-approved media (that includes us!), and our party dictate, such as 47%, because whatever he meant by that, I am quite sure that more than 47% would never vote for him, so he was inaccurate. And I will waste no energy thinking about how Romney has been successful rebuilding businesses and is a creative entrepreneur and has been generous in a freakish way (it's just not right to earn and give away so much money). Yeah sure, he gave away literally millions of dollars every year for the last 20 years (just gave it away to charity!) but no matter. He did mention 47% in a meeting with "donors." For all we know they're also busy secretly giving away money to charity too! Millions of dollars given away to who knows what charity? Why the secrecy?

I also do solemnly swear not to focus on the different ways Obama's pursuits seem to have failed at every step. The economy continues to fail under him. He didn't show up to vote much while in the Senate even during what he has labeled the greatest economic crisis since the Great Depression. He didn't show up for intelligence briefings while the Middle East was(is) in flames. I am Democrat, hear me roar. I can blank out large portions of factual information and focus in, only on what is set before me. I can have Ann Coulter on my show as a guest, and not read even portions of her book Mugged, knowing that since I am black and she is not, the case is closed. Say no more! I will not watch any news program that may show Obama in a negative light. Fox news has purportedly played speeches by Obama saying one thing in 2012, and on the same show speeches of Obama saying the exact opposite during the 2007 campaign! This is sneaky, backhanded, and should not be allowed. I do solemnly swear to not listen to Rush Limbaugh, Newt Gingrich, Mike Huckabee, Karl Rove <* ewww snarl *>, and especially not any words coming out of Dick Cheney <* double snarl *>. And I agree not to read books such as Ameritopia, Demonic, Liberal Fascism, The Forgotten Man, and especially not Mugged. I will not read them, Sam I Am.

Obama deemed More Obnoxious than an Exhaust Fan

Which is less obnoxious? The exhaust fan above my stove, or a speech by Barack Obama?

Well, I'd say the exhaust fan, because it doesn't lie, has some useful function, and the best part is, can be turned off.

Ladies and Gentlemen!

Testing 1, 2, 3. Mike check. Hello? Testing.  <* clears throat *>
Ladies and Gentlemen! Your education has certainly suffered during the past 8 years. But I'm here to change that.... bringing what's called NEW MATH to Washington, where 4 million lost jobs equals a gain of 2 million (saved or created, or saved, or created, or created/saved), where taxes raised on health care, cigarettes, and the repealing of the Bush tax cuts equals a tax break on the middle class. Where thousands of government employees now making for the first time over $175k equals cutting back and reducing the deficit, while the debt ceiling has been raised (hallelujah) to over 14 trillion. And did I mention that bankers (one industry making a profit) are evil?

2 3 4

I’m gonna blame Bush forever, forever & ever amen
As long as old men sit & talk about the weather
As long as old women sit & talk about old men
If you wonder how long I’ll be blaming him
I’ll be happy to tell you again
I'm gonna blame Bush, forever & ever, forever & ever amen

You may think that I’m acting foolish
You’ve heard that I’m new & I’m green
You may wonder how I can promise you now
We’ll spend a trillion dollars while we still owe three
And it’s not my blood that is spilling
When I give up memos of the CIA
It’s not my money that I will be spending
On every left-wing program that enters my brain

one more time

I’m gonna blame Bush forever, forever & ever amen
As long as old men sit & talk about the weather
As long as old women sit & talk about old men
If you wonder how long I’ll be blaming him
I’ll be happy to tell you again
I'm gonna blame Bush, forever & ever, forever & ever amen

Okay - are we done here? Can we just let the computer deliver the speech next time? All the words are in there already, so why do I have to actually speak them? I'll form a committee to look into that. Thank you very much.

America's Got Talent!

Now here's some talent:
Contestant 1: Timothy Geithner going on Meet The Democrats (aka Meet The Press) to explain that the stimulus is working. Wow... that's got to be harder than riding a unicycle while spinning plates on a pole.
"No. No, you're right, the unemployment is worse than almost everybody expected. But growth is back a little more quickly..."
Right. Growth as in buckets of government money thrown at "saving" government jobs, and bailing out clunker owners, and home buyers with free money. That's growth in the Obama administration.
"Well, again, I think for large numbers of Americans and businesses, small businesses in particular, it's a tough economy."
Sorry about those small businesses... but um, don't you see a connection between unemployment and strapping/ignoring small business? This is the problem with electing Marxists and professional students who know nothing about business. The whole term "shovel ready" should've been one huge clue, as if the job growth would be coming through employing temp workers digging ditches to build a new highway system (a la FDR). Odd thinking from a campaign that used the internet with such success.

Contestant 2: Valerie Jarrett on This Week with George Stephanopoulos - her task was to explain how Obama has made good on building unity, and how his health care plan has been bipartisan. Wow. Selling that would be like trying to argue that Bette Midler was the greatest soul singer of the 20th century. The Democrats have tried to cram this legislation down our throats with the public option ignoring all the aspects that could actually improve the situation such as tort reform, and interstate competition.

Contestant 3: Obama himself getting his photo op in front of a fallen hero at Dover Air Force Base. Very dramatic, slow timed salute, with great lighting. He has some quality multimedia people working for him. Sorry 'bout those folks still slugging it out in Afghanistan, but it's sure good to know that Obama cares about our soldiers. Deeply.

So those are the three finalists. Who's the winner? They're all so talented; it's hard to choose.

That Frightening Chamber

Barack said recently that the Chamber of Commerce spent half a billion dollars over the past 10 years on lobbying. He was so impressed with that number that he said it twice, for emphasis. As if to say, "in case you didn't hear me the 1st time, and as shocking as it may sound, yes, I meant it: half a billion dollars."

Now, the U.S. Chamber represents over 3 million businesses and organizations. Just doing a little math for ya, but if you take 500 million divided by 10 (for the 10 years) that's 50 million a year spent on lobbying. 50mil/3mil is 16.666, so we can estimate that the Chamber spends about $17 per member on lobbying per year.

I'd like you to take a look at another number, and I'm plunking in a pie chart courtesy Open Secrets
of the campaign expenditures for the Barack Obama 2008 campaign:

How about that? Half a billion doesn't even cover the cost of Barack Obama's campaign in just one year alone, 2008. His media spend alone was almost half a billion. Yes, you heard me. Nearly half... a... BILLION... dollars.  <* pause for dramatic effect *> So I guess that Barack Obama knows what he's talking about when he starts droppin' numbers out there such as half a billion dollars. Wow, that's a lot.

Now I'll grant you that the Chamber is a powerful organization. Small business, after all, drives our economy and ignoring them in times of a recession could lead to higher rates of unemployment. Seems they have been  as of late (Barack loves his union boys, whose campaign giving leans Democrat for over 95% of all dollars given) and we are experiencing severe unemployment.

Wow. Those boys are not exactly in favor of Republicans, are they? Take a look at AFSCME to see an even greater partisan bias. (In the last 20 years they have never once given more than 2% of their contributions to a Republican. ) Hmmm. You see, a small business person might be a former laborer who decided one day that, hey, this here's a free country, and maybe I'll just start my own business, or invent my own product. But once you make that jump out of the big union, or mega-corporation, you don't have a lot of sway with the government. The Chamber of Commerce represents small businesses, and while they are the number one spending lobby, they are just one organization. Large companies also spend a great deal of money, and if you were to add the top 100 corporations, they would greatly dwarf the Chamber's influence.

But let's return to Barack. These were the expenditures of one man. In one year. And he has the audacity to attack the Chamber for spending 1/10th as much money to lobby for all small businesses in America! I hope America is gradually tuning in to the sarcasm and double-speak of our current President. His campaign spent 3/4 of a billion dollars in 2008, outspending his opponent in some states over 4 to 1. And once he was elected he promptly passed legislation amounting to close to a trillion dollars, most of which has gone to benefit those who helped get him elected, and almost none of which went to help small business.

Not surprisingly, the unemployment rate is through the roof, and the dollar is a shambles. Such is the plight of the fool who ignores small business. Much like FDR, Obama seems on the course of crippling the economy, while managing to convince people he's doing the right thing. It took 15 years to pull ourselves out of the FDR pit (thanks small business), although much of that socialistic junk-law still plagues us today. How many years will we have to spend to extract ourselves from the "great programs" Obama is trying to pass?

Half a billion may be a lot spent on lobbying by the Chamber, but apparently it is not enough. I don't see them being able to take over all major media outlets during prime time, or buy a 24/7 TV channel full of infomercial propaganda. No, it seems half a billion is not nearly enough.

BHOmophobe

Perhaps the reason I don't want Kevin Jennings masquerading as a safe school czar is because I'm a BHOmophobe. Aside from the fact that I don't think we need another large government paycheck going to an un-vetted, over-authorized czar, to be honest, I wouldn't want any person whose main rise to notoriety has been centered around sexual practices of any kind acting as a safe school czar.

But honestly, that would make me a racist and a homophobe I guess, eh? A 2-for-1 enemy of the state.

Massive war chest

OMG! Obama was speaking of a massive war chest! This is very scary. Were we attacked? Are there emergency alerts on the radio? Help us BHO!

The Crash, part Deux

Originally posted Friday, February 27, 2009 at 11:58PM by Typical White Person

Ten days ago I wrote a piece entitled The "crash" officially began when Obama won the Democratic Nomination. This story has been very well received by our readers, and I'm glad for that, however when I continue to hear people say that Obama inherited this mess, and that it was 8 years of Bush's policy, or even that this really began in September, I would ask you to look at the pictures in that story from 10 days ago. Share it with your friends. This is a story that needs to be told. The market was strong enough (wouldn't people love to see the market reset to June 6?) but began a steady decline when Clinton conceded the Democratic nomination to Obama in early June of 2008. The markets have been on a steady decline ever since that date in history, and that time marks the high point of the last 9 months.

Fast forward to 2009. Finally the Democrats have power, that 10-pound anvil has been lifted off of Pelosi's head, and the Democrats let the world know that they can party hearty! It is historic, monumental, (insert your adjective of choice.) And I'm not downplaying the significance of this event. I know that to those in our country who identify each other by skin color, it is quite significant that this new President is black. Had an Asian candidate won, this would all be quite different. And if Bobby Jindal wins the Presidency some day... Oh God! Nevertheless, I know that to African Americans, this is a huge day that many thought could never happen. As a Typical White Person, I supposedly spend my days thinking about how I'm not black, and I remember back on those days 150+ years ago when people in the USA who happened to be "white" enslaved Africans in certain regions of this country. I never met a racist person during my first 25 years of life or so and no ancestor of mine was ever a slave owner, but some who identify themselves by their skin color have instructed me that I'm white and many people "like me" are racists, so I will take their word for it.

So we got all that over with. Actually this is a huge opportunity for those who do identify themselves as black people to enter into American society finally. Assimilate, embrace opportunity, reach out and love one another, even so-called white people! This is a time to stop the culture wars, and end racism, however it seems instead that racism has taken center stage. I blog as TWP anonymously because I am not free to speak out about race in this country due to my skin color, without severe consequences. Am I a coward? Perhaps. But I digress. That is all for future articles.

What happened since the inauguration is just more of the market's down slide. There may have been a brief period when people tried to believe in the hype, but markets represent real life, and political posturing doesn't pay the rent. (Click thumbnail to see full image.)

One interesting thing about this whole scenario is that the 401ks of left-wing journalists are just as empty as everybody else's. If they feel better by repeating to themselves that it was all Bush's fault, then hey; whatever works for you. But the truth is that Obama was largely unvetted, and that was because of Hilary Clinton's dominance in part. There was no need to really explore the history of Obama in detail, because he was just a junior Senator, a newcomer, so it was Clinton who endured the media shakedown, and Obama got a pass. All of a sudden, Democrats realized that, hey, this guy is hot! His actual policies don't seem to matter, he's great at reading cue cards, and smiling, and people love him. So the whole vetting process was skipped.

That wasn't good enough for the market though, which likes certainty more than mystery; Capitalism more than Socialism. And the mystery was revealed rapidly once Obama took office. The whole "tax and spend" and "most liberal member of the Senate" labels turned out to be very real, and very true. Apparently Rush Limbaugh doesn't just make stuff up. He and others like him were telling the truth, and despite continuing popularity, Obama supporters will have to get used to the idea that living in an Obama-led world will mean less money in the bank, and more racism in government. The "it's all the Republican's fault" pacifier will have to suffice instead of real money during these hard times, and look on the bright side: If you're an Obama supporter you're much more likely to get some free handouts.

The "crash" officially began when Obama won the Democratic Nomination

From my stint writing as Typical White Person for American Sentinel (Now Annuit Coeptis). originally posted Tuesday, February 17, 2009 at 1:08AM

Next time you hear a Democratic talking head spouting the usual blame on Bush regarding the current economic crisis, remember that the stock market crash started once Wall Street realized Obama could actually become President. It's not about the last 8 years, or the last 4 years. After Clinton "the blameless one" handed off the dot bomb to Bush in 2001, the stock market floundered a bit as it recovered from ridiculous over pricing in tech stocks. The market recovered in late 2002 and began a steady increase over the next 6 years. These images show that crucial spikes and dips are strangely related to points in the election that showed Obama on the rise, and then McCain surging. Once it became clear that Obama would win, the market dropped faster than flight 3407 over Buffalo.

1. Hillary Clinton Concedes the nomination to Obama on June 7, 2008. Interestingly this date in time marks the beginning of a long steady decline in the markets.

2. McCain begins a miracle comeback and it appears he may have a chance. Despite being outspent over 2 to 1, (in some mediums over 3 to 1), the market hangs tough through August but begins a decline in September as doubts grow.

3. Obama is largely considered the sure winner, and has all major newspapers, major TV networks, comedy shows, and movies supporting him all the way.

4. Despite a campaign of massive spending by the Democrats which included buying prime time on all three major networks, plus Obama's own TV channel running 24/7 on networks such as Dish, the polls actually showed some new support for John McCain as people began to realize that they didn't really know Barak Obama. Once the elections were finalized though, it has been all downhill, and not surprisingly, all the worst fears of those most nervous about Obama have come true.

Few were those who spoke out against Obama at that time (myself not included). It was all going to be great. Historic. Monumental. But the fact that we elected a spokesperson type with no actual experience has had disastrous results. You will no doubt hear Democrats spouting off about how Obama is just trying to overcome 8 years of failed policy and an economy that was in the tank, but I would argue that perhaps Wall Street knew what most Obama voters were not willing to consider: Obama would be a tax and spend liberal or worse. The man looks at economics as if we were still in the 70s, and wants people to get out their shovels. He's a showman who will let Dems like Pelosi and Rangel do the actual legislative work, which is frightening. I don't really want to see laid off Microsoft employees shoveling highway ditches, and unemployed small business executives doing some landscaping work to save the mouse. I would prefer to let businesses be businesses, and not subjects of Executive Branch ridicule.

Please. Take a moment, look at these charts, and realize that this market crash may be a direct result of Obama himself, and his party's message of catastrophe, fear and great depression. We hope the economy will recover, and when it does, let us all remember to cut through the BS of those who will surely give Obama all the praise. Wall Street knows better, and conservatives do as well. Only those dumb enough to vote for Obama in the first place will believe his story of hype and circumstance when it's all over. These folks might also be dumb enough to vote for a referendum to extend Presidential term limits. Obama's going to need at least 12 years for his "great plan" to actually work. Maybe 16. I can hear Sean Penn arguing that point now, with one arm around Hugo Chavez, and the other around Barak.

In Search of an Adjective

I heard a new adjective used to describe the Obama inauguration today. Monumental. Is that similar to the Lincoln Memorial monument? Perhaps we can all make an Obama monument right now ... a testament to the Presidency that will be. He has already been crowned the greatest president ever by many followers, fans, and reporters.

Here are some of the adjectives I found in recent news stories about the inauguration:
Historic. Monumental. Surreal. Wonderful. Powerful. Dramatic. Educational. Unexplainable. Magnificent. Remarkable.

But perhaps my favorite is the person who just gave up reaching for that adjective in the sky: "I was just speechless. I don't even have the words to explain the feelings," said Jean Bligen, Principal of the newly renamed Barack Obama Elementary School in Hempstead, Long Island. Seems people there were able to come up with words to rename the school before Obama's Presidency had even begun.

The Barack Obama Experience

"Aides say he originally planned to select someone with experience..." NYT, 1/5/09

Barack Obama "wanted" to select someone with experience to head the CIA. He really did. And some of us had hoped to select a President with a little as well. Apparently experience is overrated in this current political climate. You don't need it to be the Senator of New York, or the Commander in Chief. Why should you for the head post at the CIA?

When Barack Obama pondered his recent decision to place Leon Panera Bread in charge of the CIA (aka Leon Panetta by inhuman search robots), he chose someone who knows little of the inner workings of the Agency. He has one politically correct viewpoint that he can hang onto relating to torture, and we know how much waterboarding Democrats can inflict upon a President who dares set up a detention and interrogation program to deal with terrorists. No! Let them come! Let them bomb! We can deal with all that later in a court of law, and think of all the evidence we'll have then, torture free!

Obama wanted to select John O. Brennan, but he had been there during that debacle of failed policy that used interrogation as a tool to shut down terrorist activity across America in states such as Deleware and Alaska! For all the times Obama used that catch phrase to help him get elected, how embarrassing would it be to have to select someone who had helped make it all such a success, or... failure, wasn't it? Yeah.

Words are tricky that way. If you start talking on the national stage about the "Great Depression of 2008" in front of millions of illiterate children, you may come to find that people stop buying cars, and stop filling them up as regularly with your tax-burdened fuel. They might start selling off stocks faster than you can say change. But it's too early to start encouraging people to buy into our economy again. Economic improvement won't count for Barack officially until January 20, will it? So let's hold off just a little while longer. Although he has done quite well in his position at the O. of T.P.E., so we might just give him the credit he so richly deserves. (Watch for the movie showing actors depicting their own lives as they struggle to deal with falling mansion values, and cut backs on plastic surgery.)

If all it takes is one strong politically correct viewpoint to snag a position one is otherwise unqualified for, I feel bad for the Supreme Court, as we might see Nancy becoming Justice Pelosi solely on the basis of her positions against Parental Notification and the Partial-Birth Abortion Ban Act.

Senate Seat for Sale

Senate Seat for Sale - (sung to the tune of Love For Sale by Billie Holiday, Cole Porter)

When the only sound in the empty seat,
Is the beeping voicemail of the occasional visitor
That belonged to an out-of-town Barack,
I open shop.
When the moon so long has been gazing down
On the wayward ways of this wayward town.
That his smile becomes a smirk,
I go to work.

Senate seat for sale,
Pay to play, Senate seat for sale.
Powerful job that's still unspoiled,
A Position that's only slightly soiled,
Senate Seat for sale.
Who will buy?
Who would like to sample my supply?
Who's prepared to pay the price,
For a trip to paradise?
Senate seat for sale
Let the poets pipe of power
in their childish way,
I know every type of power
Better far than they.
If you want the thrill of D.C.,
I've been through the mill of Chicago;
I'm unaware, he's unaware
Unelected but just as real
Senate seat for sale.

Pay to play, Senate seat for sale.
Powerful job that's still unspoiled.
Follow me and climb the Lincoln stairs
Senate seat for sale.
Senate seat for sale.

Change me, change me

This opinion piece in the WSJ likens Obama to a leader from the author's boyhood Arab political culture... the unending expectation of the big crowd and their placing hope in a leader and not in themselves. Amazing to see the USA turning it all over to an authoritarian so willfully, so blindly, flooding the streets like some Pakistani crowd chanting for change.

"Save in times of national peril, Americans have been sober, really minimalist, in what they expected out of national elections, out of politics itself. The outcomes that mattered were decided in the push and pull of daily life, by the inventors and the entrepreneurs, and the captains of industry and finance. To be sure, there was a measure of willfulness in this national vision, for politics and wars guided the destiny of this republic. But that American sobriety and skepticism about politics -- and leaders -- set this republic apart from political cultures that saw redemption lurking around every corner.

My boyhood, and the Arab political culture I have been chronicling for well over three decades, are anchored in the Arab world. And the tragedy of Arab political culture has been the unending expectation of the crowd -- the street, we call it -- in the redeemer who will put an end to the decline, who will restore faded splendor and greatness. When I came into my own, in the late 1950s and '60s, those hopes were invested in the Egyptian Gamal Abdul Nasser. He faltered, and broke the hearts of generations of Arabs. But the faith in the Awaited One lives on, and it would forever circle the Arab world looking for the next redeemer.

America is a different land, for me exceptional in all the ways that matter. In recent days, those vast Obama crowds, though, have recalled for me the politics of charisma that wrecked Arab and Muslim societies. A leader does not have to say much, or be much. The crowd is left to its most powerful possession -- its imagination."

Obama Followers: Vote Early, Vote Often

The Obama campaign is pushing hard to get people to vote early, and why not? Once a person has voted, it doesn't matter anymore what they learn about Obama, who was practically on top of the Democratic ticket before people knew a thing about him beyond the fact that he has written plenty of books about himself, and had authored almost no legislation, or led any large organization besides his own campaign. And that is actually run by his PR firm and some extremely wealthy patrons. Obama is a professional speaker and that's all, and over time many people are realizing this. McCain over time, despite having less than half the money, is picking up followers and gaining in the polls. The Democrats' goal is to just get Obama elected by whatever means, and answer the tough questions later. (Or rather than answer the tough questions later, why not say then that it's just more Republican bickering and attacking. Can we Move On?) For example, what about the illegal online fund raising via credit cards that have not been verified. What really went wrong with Fannie and Freddie?

A U.S. Congress committee said last week that it would examine the financial collapse and federal takeover of the companies on November 20, after the U.S. presidential and congressional elections.

Again, let's elect a Democrat, regardless of who it is or whether he has any experience, or belief in American values of liberty, free markets, and capitalism, and then deal with any nagging questions about who or why after the fact.

"We were asked -- or required -- to expand lending, to conserve capital while providing liquidity, to meet housing goals for the undeserved, to serve shareholders and homeowners alike," Mudd told the paper. Hmmm... while McCain was asking for stricter regulations to reign in Fannie and Freddie, who do you think was all for more lending to the poor, undeserving urban communities who really deserve their own houses just like those rich fat cats? Let's figure that out after the election, shall we? We don't want to upset the imbalance of the election by actually reporting news now, and finding answers now, do we?

Meet your new leader: Gholam Hossein Nozari

If Obama wins, meet your new leader: Gholam Hossein Nozari

[Hardline OPEC members Iran and Venezuela had been pushing members to slice production by 2 million barrels a day, with Iran's oil minister declaring, "The era of cheap oil is finished." When asked before Friday's meeting what price Iran would want for its oil, Gholam Hossein Nozari boasted, "The more the better."]

Or, we could take a smart approach, boost our own supplies lessening our dependence on Mr. Nozari & Co., while ramping up our R&D to adopt alternative sources of energy such as nuclear, natural gas, solar and wind. That would be the McCain, Palin approach. But to hear the Democrats' spin, if we drill now, we're "not getting it" because we need to develop alternative sources of energy. As if drilling now precludes our quest to develop alternatives. That's part of the Democrat's quest to take power: paint the Republicans as fools, and guess who has bought it? Fools on the left.

Drilling now is not a simpleton's approach, but it's often misrepresented by the Democratic Party leaders in an effort to mislead voters. Drilling now is the first step in removing ourselves from our dependence on OPEC. Vote for McCain/Palin Nov 4th, not Gholam Hossein Nozari.

Vote for Obammunism Nov 4th!

Vote Nov 4th and be a part of history!

This November 4th, as you know, is a momentous occasion in US history, and you can be a part of it by getting out there and voting. The dream can become a reality this year, as we finally eradicate our old system that just hasn't worked - those old "trickle down economics" ideas, and capitalism, and the 2-party system, and we can now move forward into a better future together, where the workers of the US can unite! When we together can share one common media that is unified in reporting just the news about our one-party system!

So many of our countrymen have become wealthy, and it's time that they become patriots and give more of that money back to the working class. The backbone of our country are the hard working factory workers and union members. They're the real innovators. The community organizers, and laborers. People like you and me.

We have a chance next month to vote for a change like this country has never seen before! We can finally shed the tired old mechanisms of free trade and selfishly running one's own business, and unite together as we work together at jobs for larger nationalized companies that pay us fairly, and provide our health care for us. There will be plenty of work, and food for everyone. No more need for the capitalism of greed. Let's unite together under a new name - Obammunism!

Many years from now you can share this moment with your grandchildren. A moment when America realized its new destiny of a one-party system with a unified, one-party media giving you only the news you really need, and not wasting time with the bickering and bad-mouthed attacks of that other party.

There were those who disagreed. Many of them were racists; many clung to their Bibles, and a fear of change they didn't understand. But our great leader has become a beacon of hope even to them. They can now see the great logo of Obama emblazoned on our newly designed flag that used to point to the divisions of 50 separate states including Alaska, and now simply displays the logo of unity for all of us: one party, one state, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all!

Get out there and vote for Obama, knowing that his economic plan... just seems to make sense! Once we get rid of the outdated Bush tax rebates, we can now replace those with the Obama tax reduction plan. Forget about the $1,200 rebate check you got this year from Bush's plan; next year it'll be $1,200 less you have to pay under Obama's new plan! That's $1,200 lower taxes for you, and more money from those fat cats who own businesses. They're skating by now. The top 25% of wage earners in this country now only pay 86% of the nation's taxes! By voting together with us as Obama supporters, we can make sure that those top 25% pay 95% of all income taxes! And most of us will therefore not have to pay a dime. We're tired of those business executives and their lack of patriotism! They must unite with us, or leave the country.

Join us as we create movies from Hollywood supporting our cause. We have taken steps to make sure workers from that other party cannot find work in Hollywood, paving the way for a united front of motion picture excellence, supporting Obama! We all still remember the days of blacklisting communists in Hollywood under McCarthyism, and how painful and unfair that was. Several movies have been made highlighting the injustices of denying an actor work due to his political affiliations. Now at last the Obammunist actors can be at the forefront once again, in our new society, and in fairness we choose not to favor one party over another in movie productions, because fortunately in the future there will be only one party!

Joe Biden had it right. During the debate with Sarah Palin you may have noticed how he tried to embarrass her on national TV with his superior knowledge of the true role and power of the Vice President. What Sarah didn't know was that Joe was citing from his knowledge of the FUTURE Constitution, after Obama is inaugurated, and has had the time to alter the powers of the VP and the legislative branches of government. Palin, 2 steps behind as usual, was basing her answer on the Constitution as it reads in 2008. But Joe, be patient my friend. It's only 2 months now and then the reduced and far less dangerous levels of Vice Presidential power can begin to take shape with you in office. (You betcha!)

But you must vote on November 4th. Our leader, Obama, has spent years studying with his mentors such as Frank, Bill, Jeremiah, Louis, Karl and others (last names are omitted for the protection of our leader), and he knows what's best for your future. You can trust him on that. If you do learn of anyone speaking out against Obama however, please forward those emails to us at watchdog@barackobama.com. It's time we put a stop to those who speak out against us, and we're keeping track of them. Please help us in this endeavor.
